Cost

The cost to attend one week of camp is $200.00. This fee includes EVERYTHING the camper needs at camp, such as food, crafts, canteen, insurance, etc. Campers may wish to bring extra money to buy a Maywood Shirt, Cap, or Souvenir from the camp store.

A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $35.00 per child per week is required to register.

Special Rate for Staff

The Board of Trustees feels that personnel who work as staff should receive the following rates for their children: When parents are staff members, all of their children may attend at the reduced rate of $100.00 per child.

Session Limits

Maywood Christian Camp is limited to about 250 campers each session. All weeks are available to campers of all ages and locations.

The camp will close Saturday morning* at 9:00 A.M. All campers MUST be gone before 10:00 A.M.

Check-in begins each Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Camp closes at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.*

Staff members always seek more creative ideas to help the campers have fun while growing closer to God.

What to Bring

Each camper should bring a Bible, sheets (or sleeping bag), a pillow, towels, a blanket, toilet articles, a swimsuit, a flashlight, and other special equipment such as ball gloves, a camera, etc. All electronic devices, cell phones, iPods, video games, etc. are discouraged. No tobacco of any kind is allowed on the campground.

Dress Code

Only mid-thigh lengths are permitted at Maywood Christian Camp.

No excessively tight or low-cut clothing is allowed. Modest apparel is expected of all campers. Parents, please do not send clothing items not within these guidelines. Campers will get dirty. Please keep this in mind when packing for camp. Be sure to mark all personal items as possible.

Camper Ages

The camp permits campers ages 8 to 18. Children of staff members are sometimes allowed at a younger age. Contact the Director of the week you want your child to come if your child is younger than age 8.

Camp Supervision

A select group of teachers and counselors, under the direction of capable directors, will supervise the activities. In addition to a camp director, the staff includes a nurse, cooks, qualified lifeguards, crafts and athletic directors, and special personnel that may be deemed necessary to maintain healthful, enjoyable, and spiritual conditions at all times.

Campers enjoy receiving mail from home. Address camper’s letters to:

Visitor Policy

We enjoy having visitors on the campgrounds. All visitors are required to check in at the Director’s Hut on their arrival. Visitors to the camp are expected to follow camp rules and schedules. Please note our dress code and no tobacco rules. No visitors will be permitted on the campgrounds after 10:00 P.M. without permission from the Director.
